SAN DIEGO, CA

We left from Marine Del Rey a couple days
later and had a smooth and pleasant MOTOR sail again to San Diego. We sailed
thru the night and arrived around before daylight at the Police Dock. Tied up
quietly, not to disturb the other yachts and went back below and hit the sack
'till later that morning. Of course Denise was awake itching to get off the
boat...(rule #5 don't wake the skipper/Admiral before 8:00 am)
Of course when the tough get working (Denise
and Dennis mark the chain with colored zip-ties) the weaker go "Hot Spotting"
for Internet access...(Linda and Jim)

Views from Shelter Island are great of the
North Island Naval Station on Coronado Island and San Diego City to the East. As
most of the people who read this know this has always been like a second home to
us. So I will spare you all on our famous eats and details of this most
magnificent town.

Our quest was to have the steering brake
checked out at a dealer of the company we bought our boat from. But as expected
they couldn't give us much help as it appears to be an Edson problem that they
aren't able to fix. However Scott from Nautical Enterprises gave it a shot. Then
we were off for Ensenada where we were hauling out to get the bottom painted.
