DINGHY:

Here is where I have gone another way in cruising dinghys'. Having spent many hours in RIB's, diving, fishing and shopping, has made me aware of the shortcomings of inflatable boats. Some  things I have found is the room and capacity as well as strength and dryness of ride are all factors better found in a rigid tubular design. A friend and I were tossing around the idea of developing a new dinghy similar to a French built design I remembered in St. Vincent, but with more freeboard and tougher bottoms. Well about a year later, there is was... Bullfrog boats by owner Craig Hendersen in Bellingham, WA did it. A dinghy that weighed only 60 pounds more than my 10' Quicksilver RIB. It has an marine aluminum bottom and transom with a roto-moulded tube structure.  It is deeper than any RIB I have seen and is faster than my other RIB. It is exceptionally built and will work well with the sonar, fishing pole holders and dive tank holders that I will be installing and posting pictures of as I go.
